ABOUT US

The company was formed on the first day of November 1999 when SCIS, as it was first known, provided website design and online services to customers all around the United Kingdom.

Established by the current managing director - Simon Carter - the business was initially wholly based around internet services and inspired our trading name -  Simon Carter Internet Services. When we began working for an American customer in 2000, we stood back and reviewed our name once more - SCIS became SCIS UK - the purpose being to reflect our UK pedigree whilst working with International customers. SCIS UK became a Limited Company on 1st February 2002.

The company's objective always has been and will be to provide a quality of service which goes one step further than most of the other companies you may come across. Today we not only supply high quality internet services all around the United Kingdom, but many other products and services to our customers – please see our website for full details.

In November 2008 we moved to larger premises,on the Allenby Industrial Estate,on the outskirts of Lincoln, another step in becoming the number one IT solutions provider in Lincoln. Since our formation, the company has gone from strength to strength and continues to grow at an impressive rate; however, we will always maintain the ethos that you get what you pay for in life, especially in the world of IT.

"It's unwise to pay too much, but it's unwise to pay too little too. When you pay too much, you lose a little money.....that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.

The Common Law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot...it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better."

John Ruskin, 1819-1900
